Many European countries are slowly putting the brakes on sales of new internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles until 2035. In Norway already more than 50% of new vehicle sales are electric. In addition, one by one the car manufacturers are announcing that they are moving towards the abolition of internal combustion vehicles. BMW for example announced that by 2030, 50% of its sales will be electric vehicles. Renault has announced that 90% of its vehicles will be fully electric by 2030 while Opel will be fully electric in Europe by 2028!
